On Traveling

30 09 2007

Bahrain to Mumbai > This is Deye’s 2nd time to travel by plane. As usual, she’s always okay with it plus the Sky Nannies have been very helpful to us. They even gave us a nice seat-front-by the window and we were lucky to have the baby cot right in front of us. It only took us 3 hours to reach Mumbai, we landed on time at around 4am.

Mumbai to Goa > We traveled by bus. Left Mumbai at 9pm and reach Goa the next day half past 11am. I’d say it’s more comfy to travel by bus as long as you take the sleeper type. Since we got two tickets for this compartment, it’s almost the size of a single bed.

But the thing is we had to wait till it stops in certain places for a break. Then only we can comfort ourselves in the loo. Plus Deye’s system reacted to the long travel by bus, she vomited so badly. Good thing that I kept 3 pairs of extra clothes handy. We had also bought her a magic slate where she can doodle and scribble. At least our clothes and sheets are safe from pen ink. :p

While in Goa

> Derrick rented a bike so that we (just the three of us) could go from one place to another easily. At first I was worried that Deye won’t feel comfortable or she’d get scared. well, I was wrong, she loved it!

> On our last day in Goa, since my in-laws joined us for tour, we decided to rent a car with a driver @ RS1,000 from 11am till 5pm, reasonable enough huh!

Goa to Mumbai > This time we traveled by train - second class-sleeper type. We left Goa at exactly 8:30am and touched base at 9pm. We were not able to get first class-sleeper with AC, everything was fully booked. They advised us that next time it’s always better to get the seats reserved a month before the traveling date. It was also comfy but going to the toilet wasn’t. Or maybe I was just scared hehehe! I didn’t know that everything goes straight to the railway hahaha! It was actually my first time to travel by train this far, that’s why!

Home Alone

30 09 2007

Back to normal after a week vacation. Landed yesterday morning and decided not to come to work and take some more rest. Tried to get some sleep during the day but couldn’t. Maybe because I am home alone.

My 2Ds will be back on the 8th, that means I’ll be home alone for another 8 days. It feels different. The house is empty. I’m missing them especially Deye. Last night was my first night without her.

Anyway, I may be able to show our photos off tomorrow as I am still uploading them online for easy viewing. But of course I will show you at least one photo - another teaser hahaha!

Dona Paulo - Goa, India

I’ll tell you more about our trip tomorrow… It’s just that I’m still not in the mood to blog about it. I’m missing my little one waaaaaaaah!

That’s all for now!

Some Good News, Again!

19 09 2007

Somebody’s pregnant! Hey! Don’t get too excited! It’s not me! Hahaha! It’s another friend of mine heehee! Remember the day I gave three maternity good news where I mentioned:

Another friend back home feels and thinks that she is pregnant. Maybe. Maybe yes. Maybe not. We’ll come to know in another 2 weeks time.

Well….. it’s confirmed! She’s 5 weeks preggy. She’s having another baby! Yup, another… It’ll be her second child. And because of that she’s been teasing and convincing me to have another one hahaha! No no no no!

Anyway… What makes me excited about her second pregnancy is the fact that we are going to be and officially kumares. It’s a promise made between us - our new found friendship hahaha! Who would think that it’s going to happen soon hahaha! By the way, she’s one of my cyber friends who eventually became my friend IRL. I actually met her two years ago in Kuro - an Online Filipino Community where I started the Pregnancy Tips thread when I was still pregnant. The friendship all started when she became a member of the said community. We often talked about pregnancy. Until it became regular through YM. I also had the chance of meeting her in person last March.

Jen and Me in Starbucks, Libis Q. C.

She’s cool and nice! And a singing diva! We share almost the same interests and life experiences. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why we get along well.

Congrats to you Mareng Jen and Fafa B syempre! Weeeee! Ate na si Andrea!

Viagogo - Europe’s Ticket Hub

19 09 2007

A lot of my friends are based in Europe and almost all of them has been inviting and convincing me to visit and see their places. I would love to, why not? But of course, I want each and every trip planned. It’s always better to keep an itinerary with you, like plan each day on where to go and what to do.

I might accept those invitations one day and I hope that it’ll be very soon. I think that it would be fun to see a live concert in Europe. I heard from a friend that Led Zeppelin has already planned their comeback concert in November and that’s gonna be in 02 London. That’s more than 2 months from now. I’ve been wanting to see how Led Zeppelin perform live. I wish I could make it. Yeah right, I wish! Hahaha!

Well, just in case that my wish would be granted and that plan will push through, I know where to get the tickets. Yup, I meant the concert tickets. I told you I want everything planned, that’s why I started sourcing out. *wink*

Since wishing and hoping are still available and free in the market, I also wish and hope to see Formula 1. Of course, I know where to get the sports tickets too. Heehee!

Wire Club

19 09 2007

Chatting has been a part of my daily life since I became aware of it. I met a lot of people already who eventually became my friends in real life. It’s always nice to know people from different places who share the same thoughts and experiences with you.

Instant Messengers like YM and MSN have played big roles in my chatting life. It’s just recently when I discovered Wire Club (dot) com where you could also chat and enjoy the privilege to meet and talk to different people around the world through their free chat rooms.

All you have to do is create an account like how other messengers tell you to do and that’s it, you’ll be able access their chat rooms. Not only that they also have other feature where a member could enjoy like:

Blog > where you can create your own blog.

Clubs > where you can meet friends and share the same interests.

Dating Site > where they host free dating services.

There are two other things that I like about this club, Members and User Interest features. You’ll be able to see the Club’s Member List. At the same time you get to choose categories that show each member’s interest. How cool is that?

So what are you waiting for? Make friends now through Wire Club!
