PMN Fam Pics theme for this month is green.

I was never a nature lover, maybe because I grew up and raised in a city and never had that sense of appreciating our nature. I never liked rain because I feel that it only spoils my day. Our house back home gets flooded every time rain hits our place.

But after seeing some places in Goa, India, I think I’m beginning to appreciate the nature. I’m pretty sure you would too once you saw these photos:

These are just few of the places that I was able to capture. I wish I had more chance to capture them all, but unfortunately, I did not.

PMN Fam Pics : Potted

PMN Fam Pics theme for this month is potted - anything placed in a pot.

After a long time, I was able to join one of the family events that I usually miss because of the miles away distance. And last time was more memorable because Deye was with me. It so happened that my cousin celebrated her 13th birthday when we were on vacation last March 2007.

Above photo were just one of the dishes that we had - Spag, Caldereta, Kare-kare and Sisig. See below photo of the sisig preparation made by my cousins…Family birthdays are never complete without this, our “manginginoms” will complain!

It was fun! I enjoyed the food a lot!

Here’s my share for this month’s theme : GLOSSY

There’s my daughter Deye who was just 14 months old at that time - feeling the warm pool glossy water for the first time.

And another shot with her cousins who she had first met. I’ve always loved this photo. Their young faces had clearly shown the happiness of being together - for the first time.

I wish we could do that more often but our distance does not allow us. With captured moments like these, we could always go back and reminisce…
